UQ Health Insitu is the lifelong learning arm of the University of Queensland Faculty of Health Sciences, and is managed by the UQ Centre for Health Innovation and Solutions (CHIS). CHIS was established to provide innovative solutions to the critical workforce issues which face health now and into the future.
UQ Health Insitu draws on the expertise of all schools and centres within the Faculty to develop and deliver continuing professional development programs for health professionals using best practice online and blended learning strategies. It has focussed itself on techniques of behavioural change such as professional development education that encourage health professionals to embrace and apply best practice.
Below is an example of our work in health education.

UQ Health Insitu redeveloped Medicines Australia CEP to ensure:
|
|
- Program material was directly and immediately applicable to daily life of medical representatives
- Assessment was representative of the knowledge and skills required by medical representatives in the field
- Program content was responsive to industry changes
- Enrolment process for organisations was streamlined and flexible for bulk enrolments of employees
Project stakeholders included Medicines Australia and their member companies across the pharmaceutical industry in Australia.
