Learners who engage with UQ Health Insitu education programs demonstrate a significant improvement in skills and understanding whilst expressing high satisfaction levels and a willingness to re-engage with both our physical and online courseware. Programs are based on best clinical and educational evidence, using peer group learning and reflective practice to target improved patient outcomes. Extended courses offered through UQ Health Insitu are generally the equivalent to more than a 1 unit University course (i.e. > 25 hours of study time.) Some also involve a face-to-face workshop.
As the lifelong learning arm of the University of Queensland Faculty of Health Sciences, UQ Health Insitu draws on the expertise of all schools and centres within the Faculty to develop and deliver continuing professional development programs for health professionals using best practice online and blended learning strategies.
The following extended courses are available through UQ Health Insitu currently.
Use the links to read more about the course and how to enrol.
Health Insitu will be able to present a record of completion of individual activities, enabling the user to view and print a transcript of their activities and, if required, claim continuing professional development credit with an appropriate learned college, professional body, employer or University of Queensland Degree Program.
